I was able to get out a little this week, with the help of my friends. DeeAnn Thompson took me grocery shopping. That was enough for one day! Getting groceries tired me out before my surgery, and this was a big test. It helped to have a driver and someone to bring the groceries in the house and put them away!
Neighbor, Virgene Morse, took me to a follow up doctor’s appointment and we managed a stop at one store and eat out. It was a good day.
I attended the Greene County Clergy Association Ecumenical Service at Central Christian Church with Mary Ann Hick on Sunday evening, November 12, 2017. Mary was part of the Greene County Singers, who with many other groups, participated in the program. This was a first outing besides doctor appointments and such. I was glad to see many friends who took the time to say hello. As always, it was an evening filled with good music from all ages. I thank Mary Ann for the ride!
