Doris Brown joined her son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Kathy Brown and their two granddaughters Jaycee and Jasmine and their cousin, Isabella Craig of Sioux City, to Des Moines to view the Jolly Holiday Lights Friday evening. Doris reported it was very beautiful and it was fun listening to the girls’ reactions. She joined Jean Borgeson on Saturday for a visit with Eleanor Whiton at the Rowley Home in Perry. Eleanor enjoys visiting and her quick wit and laughter always makes a visit fun. She was 97 on August 4, 2017. For Jean, the best part of any visit between those two ladies is listening to their memories of growing up in Rippey.
