The Rippey Lions Club shared a delicious potluck meal with all present for their regular meeting. Final plans were set for the spaghetti supper on Nov. 11 and discussion for a possible community breakfast in January.

Rick Fazel presented the program and shared about  folk songs of the 50’s through the 80’s, as he played his guitar and sang songs the group selected from his long list. The favorites included “Puff the Magic Dragon,” Five Hundred Miles,” “One Tin Soldier,”  “Country Roads” and many more. He told the group about his work in California making demonstration tapes for recording artists just beginning in the business.

The next regular meeting will be on November 16 at 7 p.m. at the Rippey United Methodist Church. Guests are always welcome.
