I am very pleased to announce that the Library has received a check from the Greene County Rotary Club Grant Program, in the amount of 1,385.00 for updating items in the Library. I, as well as board member, Jean Borgeson, attended the grant awards luncheon held on Monday, April 10 in Jefferson, where the Library was awarded the check. The Library is very appreciative of the award! It is awesome to have the support of such organizations. Please, if you happen to see a Rotary member, tell them “Thank You” for helping our communities thrive.
I want to thank everyone who supported and donated to the Library Easter Egg Hunt and Egg decorating Event. We had a great turnout!! Those who donated were as follows: Peoples Bank of Rippey, Sierra Movie Theater in Jefferson, Hy-Vee of Jefferson, Sarah Kilgore of Rippey, along with other parents and young adults from the community. The day would not have been a success without you!!
I am now going to start focusing on the Summer Reading Program.
