The Third Sunday of Advent worship services on Sunday morning, December 17, 2017, were conducted by the True Heroes Under God (THUG) youth group. The group provided poems, songs and instrumental music during the service, with the help of their leader, Angela Abbas and her husband, Jason, who filled in for Avery Bardole, who was sick. The members who took part were Kaitlyn and Emma McColley, Jordan Davis, Nat Payan and Arthur Bardole. It was announced that the youth mission trip will be based out of a Methodist Church in Detroit this summer. The adult choir provided songs for the introit and offering.
The Rippey United Methodist Church Christmas Eve Service will be at 8:00. (Lessons, Carols, and Candles)
There will be no Rippey Choir practice on December 27, no anthem on December 31 and Choir practice on January 3 will be at 6:30, before the Ad Council meeting so we can sing an anthem on January 7. Dick Bardole. Director
