Marvin Terrill, 89,of Perry died on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Dallas County Hospital in Perry.
Visitation was held Tuesday, April 13 from 1-8 pm with the family present from 5-7 at Carris Family Funeral Home.  Private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
Memorials maybe given to the Alzheimer’s Association and may be left at the Funeral Home.
    Marvin Terrill was born on March 10, 1921 in Redfield to Otis and Irene (Grow) Terrill.  He graduated from Rippey High School in 1938.  He was retired from the Milwaukee Railroad where he worked as a conductor on passenger trains and a brakeman on freight trains.  He also farmed while he worked on the railroad and for awhile after he retired.  He was also a lifelong pilot and was one of the founding members of the Iowa Flying Farmers.
    Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Irene; his first wife, Caroleen (Johnston)Terrill; his second wife, Evelyn Terrill; two brothers, Claire and Stanley Terrill and a sister Lurene Irwin.
    Survivors include his son, Martin Terrill (Pam) of Perry and three grandchildren, Richard Terrill of Kansas City,MO., Rebecca Terrill of San Francisco, CA., and Rachael Holmes of Ankeny.
