MIDDLETON, WI – Lowell N. Ransom, age 88, died on Monday, May 23, 2016, at Meriter Hospital. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and lived most of his life in Madison. Lowell spent all of his working life serving the academic libraries of Wisconsin.
Lowell is survived by Don Lamb and his dog, Belle.
Don thanks Vada and Archie and the 11th floor staff and palliative care for their support for Lowell during his last days.
As per Lowell’s wishes, there will be no public services held in his memory. Lowell will be brought to his final place of rest at Elmwood Cemetery in DeWitt, Iowa.
