Blustery Brunch With Santa

Share

As the snow fell hard, families braved the weather to attend our 1st Brunch with Santa at the Rippey Community Center on December 13th.

Around 25 people came out to enjoy the gorgeous morning, which included a brunch, crafts, and time visiting with Santa. Children received a free book and had the opportunity to take a photo with Santa. Both children and adults enjoyed the festive fun of sitting on Santa’s lap. The live Nativity scene was canceled due to the heavy snowfall and frigid cold. Maybe next year.

Randy Lebeck added extra Christmas magic by serving as Santa for the event, while Dick Bardole provided beautiful background music on the piano throughout the brunch.

Everyone warmed up with a hearty meal of sausage gravy over biscuits, scrambled eggs, and hot cocoa. It was truly a memorable day for the community to celebrate the Christmas spirit together—even in the midst of winter’s cold and snow. A special thank you goes to everyone who made this event possible. The donations raised will support future community events. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
