The Rippey, IA Community Enrichments project received $45,000 from Grow Greene County, wonderfully enhancing the town’s recreational and communal spaces. An ADA-compliant sidewalk has been installed, connecting the pickleball court, basketball court, shelter house, and restrooms, significantly improving accessibility throughout the area. The shelter house has been upgraded with motion-activated lighting, which helps deter vandalism and provides safe illumination for evening gatherings. A new concrete floor has also been installed. Further enhancing the area are four new movable metal picnic tables, creating a flexible space for outdoor social events and family outings.
Thanks to this project, visitors are welcomed by a more attractive and functional park area. The new amenities enhance recreational opportunities and enrich the quality of life for residents and visitors. These enrichments will provide a lasting positive impact on Rippey.
Special appreciation goes to Grow Greene County, Dennhardt Concrete, Grow Repair, and our dedicated volunteers.
