Rippey Fun Day looks to be a total BLAST! Gearing up once again for one of the most anticipated events of the year. The celebration kicks off with the parade at 11am, a favorite among attendees of all ages. The streets will fill with floats, fire trucks, tractors, classic cars and trucks, and smiling faces. Beginning at noon, food lovers will have plenty to choose from with a wide array of food trucks offering something for every craving. Vintage Road Coffee, Weinie Wonderland, Lucky Wife Wine Slushies, to name a few. Be sure to check out the vendors offering handcrafted goods, local products, and fun finds. Thirsty Pigs will be pouring cold beer, and the Greene County Cattlemen will be serving up their signature grilled burgers. The petting zoo will charm kids and adults alike with a chance to interact with friendly animals. Speaking of animals, a PAWS adoption event will also begin at noon. Everyone is encouraged to stop by and meet some adorable adoptable pets. Don’t forget to visit Little Loo’s Tattoos for face paintings on your way to the bounce house and yard games! Classic car lovers and truck enthusiasts, you have got to check out the car show and the truck show starting at 1! For those ready to compete, test your skills at the Redneck Bags Tournament beginning at 2. The Rippey United Methodist Church will also be serving pulled pork sandwiches from 4:30 to 6:30. A chance to sit down and enjoy time together. Sports fans can get in on the action or cheer from the sidelines during the 3v3 basketball tournaments at 5:30, followed by the pickleball tournament at 6. As night falls and the stars begin to appear, all eyes will turn to the sky for the grand finale! At 9:30, grab a lawn chair or blanket and head to the diamond for a dazzling fireworks show to end the day with a bang and lasting memories.
