The Rippey United Methodist Church will once again welcome the Central College Football team, coaches and friends for a meal at the church on Oct. 19, 2019 on their return trip from a game with Buena Vista University in Storm Lake. This was started in 1985 when Velda DeMoss’ son Marc played for Central and has continued every other year since. A fitting tribute to Velda’s memory and a wonderful tradition to continue.
