The Friends of Rippey and the Rippey Sesquicentennial committee, now 150 plus 1, will meet on Sunday evening March 14 at 5:30 P.M. at the Rippey Community Room.
The agenda will primarily focus on the whether or not to hold the community celebration on July 31st of 2021. If a positive decision from the people present the conversation will begin to focus on planning events for the day.
Mayor Dan Brubaker, needs to begin with the establishment of a firm date regarding the contract with the fireworks display company, invitation for Car Show enthusiasts, guidelines for parade entries, food availability for visitors etc.
