Hanaman Highlights

We returned from a quick trip to return our granddaughters to their home in Wisconsin. Spending time with the grandchildren is always a treat, including Dale and Andrea building a bird house and cooking projects with both of us including meat balls, homemade pancakes, cookies and chocolate chip muffins. No pickles this time. We had finished the deep fried pickles at home.

Dale and Elizabeth may go into business. They also tried pickle sickles last summer made with pickle juice and discovered that the concentrated vinegar flavor was a bit overwhelming. Dale had tasted his first and after the look on his face Elizabeth left hers on her plate!

We packed our lunch for our trip and ate in the car with brief stops with sanitary wipes and good hand washing with bathroom stops. (Their esteemed grandparents needed more bathroom stops as they did.) They will continue school online. Steven will begin his UW-Superior studies next week.   Ah, grandchildren adventures.

These are indeed challenging an unprecedented times.
