After reading Nancy’s reviews, I, too, will check out those books. I have enjoyed the re-runs of the Ken Burns series on PBS about the National Parks. The scenery is beautiful and the history of the people involved and their years of commitment to convince those in the government to preserve all the parks, wilderness areas and national monuments we all can enjoy, is amazing to me. I learn something new every time I watch a Ken Burns series.
Christmas will have come and gone by next week. I hope all found a safe way to connect with their loved ones this year. For those who are missing their loved ones for the first time this Christmas, may your memories be happy and comforting as you celebrate that “empty chair” at the table.
