Jean Borgeson traveled to Woodward on Friday, September 27 and joined her sister and husband, Elayne and Dean Bice of Johnston, for lunch. They were joined by their mother’s first cousin, Shirley Ann Estes, of Leon, VA and her son, Bill Estes and his fiancé, Liz Connelly, of Chapel Hill, NC. They came to Iowa for the wedding of Shirley’s grandniece that was held in Adel on Saturday afternoon. Shirley will be 93 soon, and it was a special trip for her. Like Toni says, “Keeping in touch makes this ole lady happy, too!”
