Landus Cooperative Rippey Site

This photo shows the excavation being completed east of the Rippey Landus office site. It will be the site of a bin. This bin, when completed October 1, will hold 700,000 bushels of grain according to Jay Sturtz, hub manager.

Recently Landus President and CEO Matt Carstens told Raccoon Valley Radio they had to shut down part of the Rippey facility last year because of insurance reasons. According to Jay the restructuring will include a new pit on the west side of the office, and a new paint job on the exterior of the office.

Landus is working hard to upgrade the facilities and assist area farmers in receivership of grain as well as being a strong market contender.
