The Rippey Lions Club will serve their traditional roast beef sundaes with roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy and a cherry tomato on top at the Rippey Library/Community Center on Main Street during the Bike Ride to Rippey for riders and others on Feb. 5 beginning at 11 am. Chili, bars, and beverages will also be served. Free will offering
The Rippey Lions Club has served roast beef sundaes for about 17 years. This began after Chris Roberts had enjoyed one at the Iowa State Fair and his Dad, Phil led the preparations.
The Rippey UMC starting with the East Greene Youth Group started the baked potato bar about 28 years ago.
