The Rippey Library hosted children’s entertainer Will Stuck on Tuesday, June 12th. Everyone enjoyed his show filled with funny stories and songs. We will host another children’s entertainer on July 16th. Time is to be determined. The shows are free! These special events are sponsored by the Greene County Supervisors and GCLA. Everyone is invited!
The Summer Reading Program theme is “Libraries Rock!” and Rippey Library kickoff was on Friday with music, snacks and design your own mini guitar. Everyone received their reading packets. On Wednesday, Janice Johnston brought a variety of Instruments for the Summer reading. Wednesdays are our “Music Mayhem” program. Janice will be here again next Wednesday everyone is invited to take part! On Friday, June 22, we had a presenter here talking about rocks and showing her collection to the kids and adults. We will also paint Mandela Stones. Please call or come into the Library to learn the Rippey Library’s Summer Reading schedule!
