The Friends of Rippey recently received a Rippey High School Alumni Brick request from Barb Overman Yingling who wished to purchase one for her parents, LeRoy (Shorty) and Eloise Overman. It is never too late to place an order.
There is a potential of 21 spaces, on 3 lines, for $25.00, if we can obtain an order of ten bricks. One brick fee, because of delivery issues, costs $35.00. To date, 204 bricks have been ordered and placed by the late Keith Devilbiss or his son, Mark. The writings are direct, name, Year of Graduation, birth and death date, or a written loving remembrance. The bricks are 4×8 by 2 ¼ inches.
Keith Devilbiss placed a marble bench adjacent to the brick memorial- a memory bench for just sitting, looking at the site of the former school building, and thinking about your former teachers, classmates, and lifelong friends.
