Washington Township Trustees Plant Trees At Cemetery

Washington Township Trustees Greg Jacobs, Neal Dollinger, and Mary Hick recently enhanced the beauty and accessibility of the Rippey Cemetery. They planted a total of thirteen trees to provide natural charm for years to come. The new trees include three Serviceberry trees, three Crabapple Royal Raindrops, three Eastern Redbuds, three Hornbeam Fire King, and one Tulip tree.

“We are working hard to make the cemetery a beautiful place for those that come to visit it. We want to make sure the tax payers feel their money is being used appropriately and want them to see it at all three cemeteries,” said Trustee, Mary Hick.

In addition to planting trees, the Trustees also addressed a practical concern by repairing the water pump, ensuring visitors now have access to water.

These efforts reflect the Trustees’ commitment to preserving the dignity of the cemetery while making it welcoming and comfortable for the community.
