This special lady will be 95 on Friday, April 3! Cards can be mailed to Virgene Morse, 2006 308th St., Rippey, IA 50235. Her memories of me precede mine of her, as her folks and my folks lived on the same street in Perry when I was a toddler. She recalls how cute I was holding on to the buggy while my mom was taking my sister and brother for a stroll around the neighborhood. Fast forward to November 1963, Dale and Virgene’s daughter was the cutest little flower girl in our wedding! When they moved into Dale’s home place, we were close neighbors once again! Only five years ago we were visiting an apple orchard in Ft. Dodge, we had our picture taken. Another nice memory.
