Rippey Easter Fun

The Rippey Easter Egg Hunt was held on March 28th at the Rippey Community Center, drawing a crowd of around 50 people despite the slightly chilly weather.

Guests were treated to a delicious breakfast skillet served by Anita Rowe, providing a warm start to the morning. A silent auction featured homemade pies by Dale Hanaman, Kevin Hick, and Mary Burkett. Also in the silent auction was a beautiful floral arrangement made by Fudge’s Flowers and Gifts and an assortment of cupcakes and macaroons from Rowe Wit Da Dough.

Mayor Shannon Lawrence made a special appearance as the Easter Bunny, delighting children and adults, creating a memorable experience for all who attended.

The success of the Rippey Easter Egg Hunt would not have been possible without the generous support of volunteers, donations, and the community. A special thank you goes out to everyone who helped organize the event, as well as to Fudge’s Flowers and Gifts and Rowe Wit Da Dough for their thoughtful donations. Appreciation is also extended to Dale Hanaman, Kevin Hick, and Mary Burkett for their delicious homemade pies featured in the silent auction. Proceeds raised from the silent auction will go toward supporting future community events and programs.
