Jean’s Jottings

I joined Michael and Jill to watch Seth perform at the Sunday performance of THE SPUNGEBOB MUSICAL, at the Perry High School Performing Arts Center.  I was wondering how this cartoon I watched with my grandchildren could possibly be made into a musical, and came away completely amazed how entertaining it was.  From the opening number to the closing theme of the SpongeBob Theme song, it was a fast paced performance, with dancing and acting in in almost every scene of the performance. The costumes and scenery changes were outstanding.

There were many children attending, and their laughter filled the auditorium, especially when the bubbles erupted out of the volcano.  The audience was invited to sing the theme song, and the sound of the kids singing at the top of their lungs filled the air. (They knew every word!) A wonderful sound, indeed!
