The members of the Rippey UMC Ladies Aid held their regular meeting on Thursday, May 1. Before the meeting, the ladies were treated to a fancy tea party, by Cara McCoy, our Rippey Librarian.
Dainty sandwiches and an assortment of tea, cakes and scones were served, using antique tea cups and saucers. The tea caddy was passed around so the members could choose from a variety of special tea.
A short business meeting was held after Cara left to open the library. Those enjoying this delightful afternoon were, Maralynn Rinker, Nancy Hanaman, Phyllis Bardole, Marilyn Heater, Sharon Laub, and Toni Roberts. Ladies Aid will not meet until September.
