After three decades of serving the Rippey community, Sparky’s One Stop will permanently close its door at 1pm on Tuesday, July 28th.
Sparky’s has been much more than a convenience store. It has been a familiar stop for fuel, snacks, groceries, and friendly conversations. A place that has served generations of residents and travelers. When the door closes, the gas pumps will also be turned off, marking the end of an era for the community.
The closure is a significant loss for Rippey. For many, Sparky’s has been a daily gathering place and an important local business that has long been part of the town’s identity. As the community says goodbye, many will remember the store not just for the services it provided, but for the role it played in the everyday lives of those who call Rippey home.
Thank you to everyone who helped make Sparky’s One Stop a part of Rippey’s history. It is truly the end of an era.
