The 2nd Annual Friends of Rippey Fundraiser Golf Tournament was a great success, bringing a day of fun and friendly competition. Held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at The Hill Golf Course in Grand Junction. The four person best ball tournament featured 14 teams competing in an 18 hole shotgun start. Participants enjoyed a beautiful day on the course. When the scores were tallied, Brent Riley’s team claimed the tournament championship. Golfers and guests gathered for a free will donation meal featuring walking tacos and Mexican street corn, giving everyone an opportunity to celebrate another successful event. The day also included a 50/50 raffle and an impressive assortment of door prizes ranging from hats and golf balls to a golf bag. One of the most talked about prize was a signed alcohol bottle by golf legend John Daly. The Friends of Rippey would like to thank all 14 teams, volunteers, and everyone who attended for making the tournament another memorable success .Proceeds raised will go toward future community events and programs.
